Home Garden Cover Crops

Upon returning home from the must see Ottawa Tulip Festival we found a very dry garden. A journal of my home vegetable garden. The clover is in the garden bed adjacent to my house. I bought it and took it home and read quite a bit of it.

I have a big community garden plot and a small plot in my yard. I have a new crop of Crimson Clover. Fava or broad beans are an excellent cover crop and they make a good early spring crop as well. The beans then grow up the poles forming a live cover around all the structure.
