I also have the oncoming dumpage of pigeon manure thats always mixed with uneaten seeds from the FIL and then of course the miles of hoses. North American Wildflower Mixture. I have been away but I am back.

Thankfully those days are few. The seed heads are also sometimes used in dried flower arrangements. Even if it snows again the lettuce survives. Two sisters gardening at the east end of Lake Ontario. I purchased 4 plants and planted 5 mounds of seeds.

Our Poppies from last season have been growing all winter. A green pod will not have formed the seed yet. Something different for the back of the garden or as a specimen plant this herbaceous perennial stands up to 5 feet in height. Seedy Saturday here in London so I can pick up some seeds and talk sunshine for an afternoon.
